Halloween Time

We had a great Halloween. The weather was really nice, about 54F and it wasn't raining for once. I always hated it as a kid when you had a super awesome costume that you had to put a jacket over because it was so cold. The kids trick or treated until they were tired, which was a little over an hour and that was perfect. They had enough candy that I could steal the good stuff and there was still enough for them to not notice.

Ben loved this t-rex costume. Lots of growling, roaring and chasing his sibilings around.

A little sampling of candy before the big event. The kids got to practice trick or treating on our house and shed doors. Ben needed the rehearsal, left to his own devices he just yelled "put candy in my bucket" as opposed to the more socailly acceptable "trick or treat....thank you".


Balloon baby. We had some halloween balloons and William thought it was funny to crawl around like this. I know what you're thinking, baby and balloons; a disaster waiting to happen. Just so you know this was closely supervised.


Cara puts up with a lot around here. The kids thought it was great fun to bury the old lady.


Who doesn't love throwing fall leaves around? We've had some great fall weather.

Ben painted his pumpking with about 2 gallons of paint. It was still wet two days later.
