The Brosko Fiasco: Couple More Pics.

William is learning to sleep through the night. Troy was calling him the biggest Jerk he knows. This was prompted by the fact that unlike my other two kids, William was not transitioning to sleeping all night on his own. V and B just did it. William was getting up to eat every two hours and I had had enough. Not to mention that he was wakeing up at 8am too full to eat. Give me a break! SO first we cut out feedings, then sleeping in my room, then pacifiers, and finally the swaddle that he broke out of several times a night. It has taken him a few days to get used to each change, and I have been exhausted. He fussed quite a bit at each adjustment, but he's finally getting it. It's about time he became a contributing member of this family, even if all that means is he lets the rest of us sleep.

Veronica has decided that she could "one up" God. Now, Veronica is a very sweet girl. She is very smart and well behaved, but she can use her intelligence to tell me how to do my job from time to time and now she has decided that God did it all wrong too. At least I'm not the only one. She's been asking a lot of questions about heaven and death lately. After our last bit of spiritual education, she said "Well, if I were God, I would have people be born and live but not die" She said this in the same tone she uses when she reminds me that a yellow traffic light means to slow down and stop after I buzzed through one. Or how she tells me that the tub is too deep for William, like I don't know. Anyway, we were impressed with her thoughts on the issue, but we laughed nervously waiting for the lightening to strike.
